This is hip hop five years before hip hop existed, and by an Italian pop singer no less. 37 years later, the song “Can’t Stop Partying” by Jermaine Dupri and Rivers Cuomo will be released, crossing over from rock/pop to hip hop in a similar but modernized fashion.

Oh yeah - and don’t try to figure out what he’s saying. It’s just gibberish that is supposed to sound English. No sense can be made of it, much like Rivers’ present-day lyrics.
