The Great Electric Vehicle Race: San Francisco vs. Portland

My favorite good magazine, Good Magazine, has a feature on which of the west’s two most forward-thinking cities will win the literal green race. While San Francisco’s mayor kindly points out his city is known for it’s early adoption of the Toyota Prius (what I call the California state bird), Portland’s mayor comes out swinging with fighting words of motivation to surely keep the race interesting.

But until then, Portland, let me pump my own gas next time I visit.
