Southampton Double White somehow made its way down to Red Light Red Light in Orlando, Florida! Florida isn’t even listed on its website as a distribution-receiving state. Months ago I almost had my New York cousins track this down & ship me some. After doing a double take at the tap tonight, I ordered it, and it was as good as the nearly-perfect reviews I’ve read. Definitely the best domestic Belgian White-style beer I’ve ever had, and I’m proud it’s from Long Island. There’s nothing better than drinking a beer you never thought you’d get to drink while conversing with one of your oldest friends, while listening to the bar spin Spoon, Grizzly Bear, Buddy Holly and Sam Cooke. One of the best nights ever.
