This band has been around for 9 years and within the past two months performed “1901,” live on Letterman Thursday night [in HD above] and somehow swindled Lorne Michaels into playing three songs on Saturday Night Live a couple months ago.

I’ve listened to Phoenix on and off since “Too Young” caught my attention on the Lost in Translation soundtrack; these new songs are making that a full time hobby.

Take notice of the drummer in the video: electro-rock drummers have the most stamina in music - manually controlling hundreds of beats per minute without wavering, when there is a willing & able drum machine sitting right next to them.
