Driving back to work after exchanging one dead car with another at the mechanic (and with $650 less), I noticed a long, ominous cloud approaching the downtown skyline. Rushed back into work to avoid the dirt being kicked up by the sudden wind that always seems to signal impending rain, and confirmed the best possible outcome of a storm on a bad day: cold front.
